Jihad Al-Taie

Jihad holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the United Arab Emirates (1983), as well as a masters in International Business Law from the University of Hull (2002). He is licensed to appear before the Supreme Court of Oman and is also an arbitrator at the GCC Commercial Arbitration Centre in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.

Having a wide expertise in the legal field, he is the former president of the Omani Lawyers’ Association and the former secretary general of the Omani Human Rights Commission. He has also worked for numerous Omani ministries, including Transport and Communications, Defence, and Foreign Affairs, which included a position of chargé d’affaires in the Omani Embassy in Paris. He was also previously a member of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mediation & Arbitration Committee. Furthermore, he was a significant member in the technical committees for the establishment of Salalah Port and Free Zone, Sohar Industrial Area and Port, in addition to the privatization of Seeb (now Muscat) International Airport.

Alastair Neale

Alastair is a British legal expert who holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London (1969), and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1973. He has worked in England, Holland and France before coming to the Middle East in 1977. Having been in Oman since 1998, he has extensive company, commercial, banking, and project experience. Additionally, Alastair has been listed by Chambers Global and directories.

He has represented founders and lenders in connection with some of the largest projects in Oman, as well has numerous Omani and foreign banks. He has also handled multiple ship and aircraft purchases, sales, leases and financings.

Alastair has extensive corporate practice, advising on inward investment, company formations, mergers and acquisitions, agencies, and employment law. In the energy sector, he has advised on the acquisition of oil and gas concessions by US and UAE investors and operators. He also is the Honorary Legal Adviser to the French Embassy and the French Trade Commission and represents a substantial number of French clients.

Engineer Massouleh is a UK qualified engineer (1984) and MBA (2004) with 38 years of proven post-graduate track record in Project and Business Performance Management, including Mergers and Acquisitions and Divestiture within the Engineering and Information Technology sectors. His career progression within the engineering industry was marked by focusing on the project management sector within the industry and  this  provided  the  solid  foundation  for  moving  on  to  build  a  career  within  the  major  projects  implementation and delivery as well as  associated management consultancy services. He has gained his business management and transformation experience by working for a number of reputable engineering and management companies in UK and abroad. His technical and management background complemented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills enables him to perform and produce results in multi-disciplinary work environments. He has a keen business focus and is committed to a service delivery and work ethic of high standard essential for optimum performance in highly intensive work environments.

Ahmed Mohammed Abdel Fattah

Ahmed Abdel Fattah holds a Bachelor of Laws from Al Mansoura University in Egypt (1980) and was admitted to the Egyptian Bar in 1982. He joined JATLO in 1992, and is licensed to appear before the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court in the Sultanate of Oman.

Furthermore, he handles criminal law cases as well as commercial, civil and labour law matters. Due to his extensive experience, he is very involved in arbitration, as well as the training of trainee JATLO lawyers.

Ahmed El Said Khalaf

Ahmed Khalaf holds a Bachelor of Laws from Al Mansoura University in Egypt (1983) and was admitted to the Egyptian Bar in 1985.

He joined the JATLO team in 2004 after practicing the profession for almost 20 years. He is licensed to appear before the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court in the Sultanate of Oman. Ahmed’s main specializations are in commercial, civil and administrative law.

He is also an expert in the dispute resolution and has extensive experience in drafting contracts in Arabic language.

Saloua Aouragh

Saloua holds a Bachelor of Laws from Mohammed V University in Rabat (2004). She has extensive experience in advising clients in Morocco and Oman regarding litigation and corporate matters.

Her work consists of drafting required documents and instruments related to corporate matters including agreements, settlements, and transfers. She also represents both strategic and financial clients in a broad range of industries, including construction, financial services and intellectual property.

She joined JATLO early 2020 and speaks three languages; including Arabic, French and English.

Khadija Khalid Al Balushi

Khadija holds a Bachelor of Laws from the College of Law, Sultan Qaboos University (2017). She received her license to practice from the Omani Bar in 2018, and is currently licensed to appear before the Primary Court. Khadija’s work includes litigation, drafting memorandums, and other proceedings. Additionally, she assists the corporate department and has proved to be an outstanding lawyer.

Muzna Ali Al Syabiyah

Muzna holds a Bachelor of Laws from the College of Law, Sultan Qaboos University (2017). She received her license to practice from the Omani Bar in 2018, and is currently licensed to appear before the Primary Court. Muzna’s work includes litigation and corporate work including drafting memorandums and contracts, making her skill set diverse.

Ahmad Salem Al Khaledi

Ahmad holds a Bachelor of Laws from Dhofar University, College of Law. He is licensed to appear before the Primary Court from 2018, and is fluent in both Arabic and English. Additionally he has shown prominent participation in the Corporate and Litigation Departments.
